Verbs are words that explain what someone or something is doing or feeling or experiencing.  For example, the following words in bold italics are all verbs:

The bees buzzed.

The prime minister pleaded.

I go to the shops every day.

Snow falls from the sky.

The table shook.

She often speaks at the conferences.

He climbs mountains in his spare time.

She thinks very deeply about things.

He expects too much.
