  1. If bright kids were given a little Latin in school, they wouldn’t need most of these explanations. The others are going to get it wrong anyway.

    • Yes, and isn’t it sad that such an idea is so unlikely to be adopted. If anyone’s interested, there’s a lovely Latin primer written by Harry Mount called Amo, Amas, Amat and All That.
