‘Grammar’ is spelt ‘ar’ at the end, not ‘er’. Just ask Ma, because:

Ma knows there’s no e in grammar

Not so long ago a school in the UK — yes, a school — proudly erected a new notice at its entrance gates. It read:

‘Grammer School’

…they should have asked Ma.
