Wordwatch for KindleWell, the cover looks good… (that bit wasn’t me).

Here’s the blurb:

This is a basic guide to writing well. Aspects of grammar and punctuation that commonly cause confusion are demystified in plain English. You’ll find clear instructions on the correct use of possessive apostrophes, commas, speech marks, hyphens and semicolons.

Other topics include the subjunctive, split infinitives, and the difference between ‘fewer’ and ‘less’. You can also learn more about active and passive sentences; commonly used foreign words and phrases; and word classes, including nouns, adjectives and verbs.

Also included is a brief, no-nonsense guide to politically correct language.

Coming soon: a paperback version.

Available on Amazon.com and Amazon UK.

  1. Buying it soon. Will write a review there too in some days.
Looks good; I just checked it out.
It will be my maiden Kindle paid purchase; I have all free classics in it presently.

You may make an author page there (not sure if authors can do that; I think they can).

    • Hi, Vikas! Thanks for checking it out; I appreciate it. Yes, I must get round to all that author page stuff.

It’s always good to hear from you, and thanks again. 🙂

      • I bought it (59 Rupees). Looks good. It is clear that you (and/or Daisy) really read the how-to on making Kindle books. Good navigation. I have the basic Kindle; looks great on that.

I will write a review soon.
        Thanks.
